Journey of the Psalms: Streams of Water

Please read Psalms 1.

God's law is like streams of water that brings life and prospers the man who meditates on His law. The water does not let the man wither. The water provides the ability to produce fruit. Streams of water are also active, constantly providing resources. They are fresh and refreshing. God, also, refreshes and provides for all things.

The streams of water is compared to the law of the Lord. The wisdom in the law provides men with the way of the righteous, whom God watches over. The law keeps us from the counsel of the wicked, keeps us from the way of sinners, and makes us last. Those that do not follow the law will perish.
